Founded in 1990, Rebox is North America's largest once-used box distributor, operating 35+ distribution centres across the United States and Canada. We serve 2,000+ businesses including some of the largest retailers and manufacturers on the continent.
We build reuse programs for retailers, manufacturers, recyclers, distributors, and packers and co-packers. Whether you need a reliable source of quality once-used boxes or a smarter way to manage the boxes leaving your facility, our team will design a program around your operation.

In the early 1990s, our founders were selling new boxes out of a basement — calling businesses they knew, building relationships one order at a time. After a few years in the industry, a manufacturer called with an unusual offer: nine truckloads of misprinted boxes, wrong colour, headed for disposal. Five cents a box. Thirty thousand boxes per truck.
Despite being a little unsure, they said yes.
Within an hour, they had sold all nine truckloads to companies across Montreal. That moment changed everything. If that much value could be unlocked that from boxes everyone else had written off, the opportunity was bigger than anyone had recognized.
From then on, Rebox began focusing on once-used boxes, leveraging the entrepreneurial spirit that continues to define the company today.
In partnership with Duke University, we studied the environmental difference between reusing corrugated boxes and recycling them. The findings are stark: recycling corrugated cardboard requires approximately 10 times more energy and produces approximately 45 times more greenhouse gas emissions than reuse. Every box that moves through our network instead of a baler is a meaningfully better outcome - financially and environmentally.
Every time you re-use 1 ton of boxes with Rebox, your business is saving 17 trees!
