Our Story
Rebox first came to life in 1990 in Montreal, Quebec. What started as a local packaging distributor for printer boxes and stock boxes quickly expanded. As the market began to saturate, Rebox took an innovative turn when they began re-using job lots and once used cartons from manufacturers. The result was a brand new market, providing customers with a low cost packaging solution while enabling recycling programs for manufacturers.
By the mid-2000s, Rebox was the largest distributor of once-used boxes in the Quebec Market. With close proximity to the border, they seamlessly expanded their offerings to companies with locations in the US.
As Rebox continued its pursuit towards sustainability, they partnered with Duke University’s Nicholas School of the Environment to create the first ever life cycle assessment of a once-used box. This work means that Rebox can quantify the environmental impact on extending the life of a corrugated box for each of its customers.
Today, Rebox partners with fortune 1000 manufacturers and retailers across North America – providing environmental, financial, and operational benefits. With locations across Canada and the US, Rebox is ready to service all distribution, packaging, and recycling needs.
